5/14/15 Stop Animation Video
I did my stop motion video on the card game Solitaire because I thought it sounded very fun but yet difficult at the same time. I would rate my video a 10 not only because I tried hard on it but because it was very creative and fun. If I could do it over again, I would change my topic to a different card game that was a little more interesting. I would also take my pictures in a different place because there was a glare on my board the whole time. I do think I thought "outside of the box" on this project because no one else did a card game. I think my project is unique because I had different angles and backgrounds to change everything up and I chose a unique topic. I think I deserve a 40 out of 40 on my project because I tried my hardest on my project and I chose a unique topic.

4/20/15 Unethical Practice
All unethical practice are crimes, but some get you in serious trouble. This video showed four students that committed crimes in college and got expelled for it. I think most people use unethical practices to cheat academically because they are lazy and don't want to do their own work so they copy off of someone who wasn't lazy and did their own work. They also might not know the answer or the CORRECT answer and they don't want to be wrong.
I think that Muhammad and Sandra should have been let off with just a warning rather than expelled because they didn't commit a big crime like the others. They were just working together on their notes for an essay. Their essays might have been somewhat similar but they weren't the same. They didn't deserve to be expelled. They should have just been let off with a warning.
The students will forever have this on their record. If they try to get into a new college, a job later in life, etc. they won't be able to because this will be on their record and no one wants that in connection with their school or company. If I go to Kansas State University and I commit a crime like these, I would get expelled and wouldn't get accepted into any other college unless they don't look at my record, which all colleges do.

3/9/15 Sphero Investigations
Lesson 1: Time, Speed, and Distance
In this lesson, we learned that as the speed and time increase, the distance the ball goes does too. We programmed the ball to go at a speed for certain time amount and then we measured how far it went.
Lesson 2: 2D Geometry
In this lesson, we learned that the heading angles can make the Sphero turn a certain angle. We programmed the Sphero to turn a color, turn a certain angle, roll, turn a color, turn an angle, roll, etc. We made a square, a triangle, and a pentagon.
Lesson 3: Mean, Median, & Mode
In this lesson, we learned that the delay and the speed depend on each other to go a certain distance. We made the Sphero knock down pins (markers) from a certain distance away. We had to predict the delay it would take to knock down the markers and then roll less than 6 inches away.
Lesson 4: Percentages
When we did this lesson our Sphero didn't work. I would start but not stop so we could not complete the lesson. We tried many different Spheros and they all wouldn't stop.
Lesson 5: Patterns & Colors
In this lesson, we learned that you can program the Sphero to turn different color. You can put delay to make it a color for a certain time. We made a rainbow with the Sphero and also made Morse code with it.

2/17/15 The Thrilling Potential of SixthSense Technology
I learned a lot about the sixth sense technology today by watching this video. I learned that if you are writing something on a paper with the sixth sense technology and you want to transfer it to your computer you can by pinching it. I learned that you don't have to be at a computer to be doing things you do on a computer. You can do it on paper, the ground, and even a person. I was amazed by the paper where you can write stuff on it and print it like a computer but on a loose piece of paper. I was also amazed by how you can see characteristics of a person by aiming it at the person. You can if you are tall or small, old or young, and many more. I also thought that the part where you can hold up your plane ticket or any ticket and see if the plane is delayed. Finally, I thought the part where you can write an address and it will print you out a map of it. This technology is great but there are some problems too. Some problems are that people could do inappropriate things with it and could do things it wasn't made. Overall this sixth sense technology is great!
